THE CURRENT PREVIEW

Your words deserve
a little care.

This describes how the current Tentio preview handles your writing. The product will need a fuller policy before accounts, saved cloud projects, or billing are introduced.

What stays in your browser.

The people, memories, creative choices, blueprint, and poem you enter are stored in this tab’s session storage so the studio can survive a refresh. Session storage is normally cleared when a tab closes, although browsers may restore it when restoring a session. Someone with access to your browser session may be able to see your writing.

Your Happy or Sad atmosphere choice is saved separately in this browser’s local storage. It contains only that visual preference.

Voice Memory.

Voice Memory is optional. When you choose “Remember this draft,” Tentio derives writing tendencies such as average line length, short-line frequency, line-end punctuation, direct address, repeated line openings, abstraction balance, and stanza count. Voice Memory stores those derived tendencies plus any “protect” or “avoid” notes you write. It does not save a copy of the poem itself.

Voice Memory is stored in this browser’s local storage so it can remain available across new Tentio sessions on the same browser. You can clear it at any time with “Forget voice memory.” Clearing the current preview does not clear Voice Memory.

When Tentio reads your words.

Tentio does not send your writing anywhere merely because you type it. When you ask Tentio to shape a blueprint, suggest an opening, suggest a next move, review a draft, or deeply read a poem, the relevant writing context is sent to Tentio’s server for that request. If Voice Memory is enabled, its derived tendencies and your explicit voice notes can be included as editorial context for that request.

If a model provider is configured for the deployment, some requests may be sent from Tentio’s server to that provider. In Tentio’s default low-cost configuration, only draft review and whole-poem deep-read requests are eligible for the external provider; blueprint shaping, opening suggestions, and next-move coaching remain on Tentio’s built-in editorial engine. Provider credentials never ship to the browser. If no provider is configured or a provider request fails, Tentio uses its built-in editorial engine instead.

The application code in this preview does not write co-writing request bodies to a database. Hosting and model providers can still have their own operational logs and retention practices, so do not enter material you are not comfortable processing this way.

Truth Lock.

Truth Lock is an editorial constraint, not a factual verification service. When it is on, Tentio instructs the co-writing engine to invent metaphor and figurative language without inventing new biographical facts. You should still review every suggestion before keeping it.

Your controls.

“Export notes” downloads a plain-text copy to your device. “Clear preview” removes the current tab’s stored answers, blueprint, and poem after confirmation. Exported files remain on your device until you delete them yourself.

What is not here yet.

We have not added account registration, cloud project storage, advertising trackers, payment collection, or public sharing. Those features require their own controls before they are enabled.
